Team History

They hold the distinction of most successful program in the MAC, with over 700 wins. Their nickname is the Cradle of Coaches. Paul Brown, Bo Schembechler, Ron Zook, John Harbaugh, and Sean McVay all played here. On a run that's seen 5 bowl games and 2 conference titles in the last 6 years, they look to keep up the standard.

Ben Roethlisberger (QB, 2001–2003): MAC MVP and 3rd team All American in 2003. The team finished 13-1 ranked #10 in the final poll with wins over Northwestern, Cincinnati, UCF, and Louisville.

Best Ever Coach

Dick Crum (1974-1977): Across the four seasons he was there, the team won 10+ games three separate times.
