Team History
The 1998 FCS champions eventually moved back up to FBS football in 2012, and boy has it been tough sledding. In the years since two 4-8 seasons are the best they've been able to pull off. In 2025 they'll be breaking in a new coach and moving back to the MAC. Definitely worth shaking things up.

Marcel Shipp (RB, 1998-2000): Three time first team all conference. The bellcow on the championship team, he ran for 244 yards and 3 TD's in the national championship.
Best Ever Coach
Mark Whipple (1998-2003 & 2014-2018): The coach of their FCS national championship team. His return wasn't as good, but he still has the 4 best seasons since their return to FBS.
