Team History
Nevada moved up to FBS in 1992 and immediately won at least a share of the Big West conference title 5 times in their first 6 seasons. Afer a little lull, from 2005 to 2021 they made 14 bowl games in 17 years. But they are currently coming off 3 consecutive 10 loss seasons, Jeff Choate needs to show improvement to keep his job.

Colin Kaepernick (QB, 2007–2010): Finished 8th in the Heisman voting during that 2010 season. Threw for 10,000 yards and ran for 4,000 in his college career.
