
Team History
One of the more consistently successfull non-major programs out there. Don Coryell, an inovator of the passing attack in football, led them to some dominant seasons in the last 60's. They had some decent years in the 90's, but really came into their own under Rocky Long recently. A lot of people are high on Sean Lewis, lets see if he can improve after a 3 win first season.

From 2015 to 2021 they had 5 double digit win seasons in 7 years, including 2 conference championships. They spent a total of 18 weeks in the AP poll during this run. Then opened up a new stadium in 2022.
Rock Bottom
From 1999 to 2009 they went 11 seasons without a winning record across 4 different coaches. At least there was another football team in San Diego worth watching at this time.
Best Ever Player
Marshall Faulk (RB, 1991–93): 3 time first team All American. Each year in college he had 1600+ total yards and 15+ touchdowns. Finished 9th, 2nd, and 4th in the Heisman voting during his 3 years of college.
Best Ever Coach
Don Coryell (1961–72): All time wins leader here. Won 7 conference championships. College football hall of fame and pro football hall of fame as a coach.
