A big loser of the realignment shuffle, they finished ranked in the top 10 while in a power conference 5 times in the last 30 years now they're getting relegated. This will be their 2nd and last season of being in a 2 team conference until the new PAC starts next season.

Best Ever Player
Ryan Leaf (1995-1997): First team All American and Pac 10 offensive player of the year in 1997. Finished 3rd in the Heisman voting and was selected 2nd overall in the NFL draft.
Best Ever Coach
Mike Price (1989-2002): Was the coach for the programs best seasons, finished the year ranked in the AP poll 6 times. Won their 2 most recent conference championships
