Team History
Founded in 2010, they made the jump to the FBS and Sun Belt in 2013 where its been a bumpy path to success. It took them till their 3rd season to win a conference game, but then Shawn Elliot took over and had 5 winning seasons in 7 years. Dell McGee struggled in his first year going 3-9, we'll see if he can figure it out in year 2.

The one coach who found success here, Shawn Elliot, decided to leave after the 2024 season...to become the recruiting coordinator and tight ends coach at South Carolina. Not a good sign for the health of the program.

Robert Davis (WR, 2013-2016): 2 time first team all Sun Belt selection, Second in Sun Belt history for career receiving yards.
Best Ever Coach
Shawn Elliott (2017–2023): Led program to four bowl wins and first SEC victory. Really the only option here.
