Team History
The program started in 1924, stopped for WW2, then didn't resume play until 1981. They were a power at the FCS level then, winning 6 national championships. In 2014 they moved up to the FBS and joined the Sun Belt where they have been pretty consistent, reaching a bowl in 7 out of 11 seasons. This will be Clay Helton's 4th season, looking to build on 8 wins last year.
