They were Louisiana-Lafayette until 2017, when they became just Louisiana. An FBS team since the 70's they joined the Sun Belt at the turn of the century and in the last 15 years became one of its stronger programs. Michael Desormeaux is entering his 4th season, looking to build off last years 10 win season.
