Team History

In 2007 they garnered national attention, becoming the first FCS team to beat a ranked FBS program when they went to the Big House and beat #5 Michigan. In 2014 they jumped up to the FBS level and joined the Sun Belt, where they have been successful winning 4 conference championships already. Shawn Clark failed to post a winning record in 2 of his last 3 seasons so it will be Dowell Loggains turn to lead the Mountaineers.
